Hilda Baci: From Guinness World Record Holder to Proud Landowner with Zylus Homes

Nigerian Chef, Hilda Baci recently became the Guinness World Record Holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual. This happened after she cooked for 100 hours straight in the world record attempt.

Hilda who began her cook-a-thon on the 11th of May, 2023 finished on the 15th of May, 2023, in the Lekki area of Lagos. On the last day of her cook-a-Thon, one of the biggest real estate firms in Africa Zylus Homes promised Hilda a land gift.

Speaking at the Amore Gardens Lekki, the E.D Operations, Mrs Bukola Olatujoye said Hilda was going to become an owner of a plot of land in their newest estate Arizon Estate, Ibeju Lekki. 

Why Zylus Homes gave Hilda Baci a land gift

The Group CEO, Dr Oluwatosin Olatujoye who spoke at the official hand-over of the land document, hinted that the company is known for innovation and creativity. 

He also stated that Hilda’s land gift was a confirmation of their support for creatives that continue to break the barrier.

Earlier, Mrs Bukola noted that the company recognise and appreciate the effort Hilda put into fulfilling her longtime dream and inspiring millions of people not just in Nigeria but around the world.

Hilda Baci’s reaction to the gift

Baci appreciated Zylus Homes for the overwhelming reception given to her during her visit. The Guinness World record holder also express surprise at the company’s gestures of gifting her land worth 25 million.

This comes after Hilda received a plot of land located in Wana Court Green Estate, Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital. The land gift was earlier announced by the Managing Director of In-Motions Business Limited, Mr Gideon Ekanem on his Twitter handle.

Furthermore, reports say Baay Projects offered Baci a 500 square metres of land in Green City Estate, Ketu-Epe.
