Khloe Kardashian, the Good American founder, took to social media to celebrate her son Tatum Thompson‘s first birthday. Sharing adorable photos from the past year, Khloe expressed her love and gratitude for her son.
In an emotional post on July 28, Khloe wrote, “Happy birthday, my sweet son! I am a firm believer in that God gives you what you need and I needed you. God knew my heart needed you. I needed a love only you could give me. I needed my son.”
According to a report by Eonline.com, Khloe continued, “I am so proud to be your mommy. So proud of your beautiful, gentle, loving, infectious spirit. You light up every single room. There’s no denying that everyone smiles when they look at you, especially True. She is so proud to call you hers.”
Tatum’s Impact on True
Khloe also reflected on the bond between her two children, Tatum and True. She shared, “Tatum, you have changed mine and True’s lives forever. We both needed you. I knew she would be a fantastic, loving older sister, but I don’t think I ever could’ve imagined the love and bond you guys already have.”
The tribute ended with Khloe expressing her disbelief that her son was already turning one. She wrote, “Happy first birthday, my sweet sweet baby.”
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson welcomed Tatum via surrogate in August 2022. Their baby boy was conceived in November 2021, around the time Khloe discovered Tristan’s infidelity. Despite the turmoil in their relationship, Khloe and Tristan have been working on maintaining a friendly coparenting dynamic.
While Khloe has mostly kept Tatum off her social media, she has been open about the differences she has experienced in welcoming her first and second children. On a June 8 episode of the Hulu reality series, Khloe shared her thoughts, saying, “When you compare it between True and him, it’s a very different experience… But with him, it’s taken me, like, months. I love him and I love kids, but I definitely still don’t have that complete bond. But you know, so many say it takes time.”
