Almost a month after the launch of the 13-inch MacBook Pro equipped with M2 , the MacBook Air M2 has finally confirmed the release time. From July 8th, this highly anticipated new product will be available for order in Hong Kong , with the official shipping date being July 15th a week later.
On the Taiwan side, there is no news of any listing for the time being. As mentioned before, the prices of the new MacBook Air in Hong Kong and Taiwan are from HK$9,499/NT$37,900 respectively, and consumers can choose from four colors: dark blue, gold, gray and silver.
In addition to the M2 chip, the new Air features a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera and four speakers. It has a battery life of up to 18 hours, supports MagSafe and comes standard with a 35W dual USB-C charger (up to 67W). The unit ships with macOS Monterey pre-installed and can be upgraded to Ventura this fall. The SSD capacity of its basic model is also 256GB like the new MBP. I hope there will be no slowdown this time.
