MNU 1:0 ASV: Three Worst Players For Man United In The Game

Manchester United were clearly the better side in the first half of the game as they narrowly led Aston Villa 1-0 at halftime thanks to a brilliant goal from Bruno Fernandes.

Well, let’s take a look at the three worst players for Manchester United in the first half of the game despite their slim advantage over Aston Villa

1, Jadon Sancho.

The English International became a weak link in Manchester United’s attack as he failed to add anything productive to the team’s performance offensively against Aston Villa. In his several attempts to get past his markers, he lost possession carelessly for the Red Devils and couldn’t make himself a real threat to the opposition’s defense line.

2, Marcel Sabitzer.

It was a real struggle to see what the Austrian International offered this Manchester United team in the first half of the game against Aston Villa. The 29-year-old had a really dull 45 minutes of football as he could barely impact the team’s performance both offensively and defensively against the Villains.

3, Marcus Rashford.

The English International struggled to get sufficient supplies upfront on the attack for Manchester United which affected his performance in the first half of the game. The only real opportunity created for him in the first period got wasted as he looked to have been contained by Aston Villa’s defense line.
