“Red Dead Redemption 2” players will hold funerals: pay tribute to the “dead” OL mode

The last major update of “Red Dead Online” was on July 13, 2021, which means that the online mode of the game has not been updated with substantial content for nearly a year. Desperate Red Dead Redemption 2 players are planning to host an “Internet” funeral this month for the game’s online mode

On the one-year anniversary of the release of the Bloodstained Riches update, fan account Red Dead News has issued a call to players of Red Dead Redemption 2 to dress up in their best funeral attire, on July 13th. Days gathered on Twitter, using the hashtags #RedDeadFuneral and #SaveRedDeadOnline, to pay tribute to the “dead” Red Dead Online with their own screenshots of the game.

In a sense, this is players saying goodbye to the “dead” Red Dead Redemption OL. However, this “Internet funeral” is more of a hope that Rockstar can see that so many players are still sticking to the game and provide substantial content updates for the game.
