Samsung leads with 23.4% share
According to an IDC survey, the smartphone market in the first quarter of 2022 recorded a year-on-year decrease in shipments of 8.9%.
Among them, Samsung shipped 73.6 million smartphones, down 1.2% year-on-year, and has the top share.
Bankless Times claims that Samsung has gained greater volume with its wide range of differentiated products, known for creating compelling and innovative products that meet consumer needs.
Apple was the only positive growth
Second place was Apple, which shipped 56 million units .
Its share is 18%, and shipments have increased by 2.2% year-on-year.

Samsung and Apple were able to handle supply chain issues better than their competitors and avoid the drop in shipments of other manufacturers.
